Announcing Lisa Wells of Cook Eat Paleo as November's Featured Blogger!

Nourished App

There is a time and place for crazy complicated meals, and I like many of you like to spend an afternoon cooking dishes with lots of ingredients that wow those I serve them to.  However, I would probably put myself more in the camp of "find me a dish with just a few ingredients that is simple to make but yet tastes amazing".  This, my friends, is harder than it looks though.  If you ever watch Top Chef or any of those other cooking competition shows, many of the times it is the chef who masters a simple and otherwise easy looking dish that wins.  It's easy to throw a few ingredients into a bowl but to make it taste good you need knowledge of how those ingredients work together to let the flavors shine through.

Enter Lisa Wells of Cook Eat Paleo.  The majority of her recipes feature less than 10 ingredients (including salt and pepper), yet everything is spot on delicious.  I clearly remember the first dish I made of hers, the Paleo Banana Blackberry Muffins.  The ingredients are rather benign, some coconut flour, a banana, some eggs, etc, so I figured it would be like every other coconut flour muffin I've had but yet it wasn't.  It was delicious and moist and packed with flavor.  Everything else has been the same.  Clean and simple yet amazing.

So that's why I am super excited that Lisa has agreed to be our November featured blogger and that she is also providing us with an app exclusive recipe as well!  (I have had a sneak peak and well, mmmm, mmmm, mmmm).

Her update will be out in November but in the meantime you can check Lisa out at her blog at Cook Eat Paleo
